Professional golf coach Darren Carroll - biography
Golf Lessons are run by the Asian Golf Academy, and your professional golf coach is Darren Carroll. Lessons are conducted at the Nature Park Driving Range (located at 601 Sin Ming Avenue, Singapore 575734 - formerly known as Bishan Driving Range), and are available Tuesday-Sunday inclusive.
Career achievements
- Started playing golf at age 12; turned professional at age 23
- Underwent intensive professional training, including a 6000-hour training programme in Australia
- Played in numerous major tournaments and won several tournaments on the Australian circuit
- Head Professional at the Aschuffenberg Golf Club in Germany
- Head Professional at the Warren Golf and Country Club in Singapore

Darren is an internationally recognised Golf Professional, and a member of : -
- Singapore Professional Golfers Association
- Australian Professional Golfers Association
- Australian Coaching Council (AA Rating)
Personal attributes
- 17 years (as at 2009) teaching experience with all levels of students, from beginners to advanced,
some of whom have turned professional - Established as one of the finest teachers in Singapore, due to professionalism and dedication
- Ability to tailor specific golf programmes designed according to students’ needs and skill levels

Darren makes an annual trip to the USA to commentate on the US Masters at the Augusta National Golf Course.
He is also a guest presenter on the ESPN STAR Sports channel TV programme
