Singapore hosts the 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday 28 September 2008 ! It will be the first night race in Formula One history, and will be staged on public streets around the Marina Bay area, with the 5.067 km. (3.148 mile) 61-lap circuit set in an anti-clockwise direction in order to enhance safety. Grandstand seating and hospitality areas lining the track will be able to accommodate more than 80,000 spectators. Keep up-to-date with news at the F1 Singapore website.
