Singapore is a good location for windsurfing, especially during the two monsoon seasons (SW monsoon from July-October and NE monsoon December-Febraury) where the wind picks up to about 12 knots. Typical sail size is 9-12 m.
Three clubs are located on the East Coast of the island, stretching from just south of Bedok Jetty in the direction of Changi: Mana Mana Beach Club; People's Association Sea Sports Club; SAFRA Sea Sports Club.
- People's Association Sea Sports Club provides beginners courses, windsurfer hire (Mistral Prodigy & Fanatic ~245Litre widestyle boards), and has storage facilities (boards S$30 per month, sail w/o boom S$5 per month.
